Archery, one of the oldest sports still practiced, is closely linked to the development of civilisation. As a cultural advance, it was comparable to the discovery of fire and the invention of the wheel.

Whether you thrive on physical activity, or prefer a more relaxed and social sport, Archery can offer you this and more. It’s a fantastic way to develop personal skills and it is an activity that can be enjoyed by all the family.

We provide all safety equipment, an all-weather marquee, as well as tuition and guidance from our experienced and qualified coaches.

Recommended combinations:

Archery can be done on its own but works really well when combined with Clay shooting. 

We offer livery on a long or short term basis.  If you wish to bring your own horse on holiday with you it can easily be arranged! 

We have some ponies that come back to us every summer for a few weeks, while their owners enjoy the forests and Connemara scenery. Livery costs €150 per week. For longer term rates please enquire.

We rent out our indoor arena for use currently we are charging €20 per horse per hour.

At Ashford Outdoors our equestrian centre offers a dedicated team of experienced professionals providing high standards of horse riding and coaching for adults and children alike.

We cater for visitors who want to improve their horse riding abilities and those who wish to come regularly. We can take children from the age of 6 years old for their first time through to experienced adults.  For children aged 4 and 5 years we provide pony rides/experiences.

Our team are here to facilitate your enjoyment and safety as well as the achievement of your riding ambitions.

Ashford Outdoors provide suitable well-schooled horses, while maintaining an enjoyable and fun attitude to riding and learning equestrianism at all levels.

We offer private lessons to our equestrian loyalty customers at preferential pre paid rates.  There is no refund for lessons not attended. We accept all major credit cards and Apple pay.
